Welcome to Brikl, a platform for setting up stores at scale! This step-by-step guide will walk you through the creation of your Brikl account. Whether you're looking to start an on-demand company store, a pop-up shop for an event, or a redemption store for a corporate rewards program, Brikl has you covered. 👍

Step 1: Sign Up
- First thing first, go here to sign up.
- Create an account with an email and password or choose an SSO option.
💡 Ensure your password is strong and secure, combining letters, numbers, and special characters.
Step 2: Get Ready to Make Payment (Account Owner Only)
Step 3: Set Up Your Organization (Account Owners Only)
All the organizational settings you apply will be visible to all users you add to your account. However, only account owners can configure these settings.
- Ready to customize your account? Add your organization name to have it visible across your stores.
- Add your branding. Only SVG, PNG, JPG, or GIF file formats with max dimensions of 800 x 400 px will be accepted.
- Add a primary color that will be visible when you hover over a menu, for example, and a background color that will determine the color of your screen.
Step 4: Define payment settings
Now for the nitty gritty.
- Select the Correct Payment Gateway
Head over to the integrations tab and select Stripe Connect. Currently, Stripe is the only available payment gateway, but it’s a solid choice that gives you access to the most popular payment methods.
Click on Stripe Connect and follow the prompts. Remember, Stripe handles the payment setup process, so you’re in good hands.
- Provide Company Information
Enter your company details, including the Employer Identification Number (EIN).
Add and verify your business website.
- Add Personal Details
Fill in your details and the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN). - Choose Ownership Status
Specify if you own 25% or more of the company. If not, continue with 'No Owners' to keep things simple. - Link Bank Account
- Select your bank from the provided list.
- Enter your User ID and Direct Connect PIN. Follow the instructions for your bank.
- After submitting, your bank account will be linked to your Stripe Express account. - Complete the Setup
Once your bank account is connected, any funds transferred from Brikl will go into your Stripe Express account and then to your bank account.
❗Important
- Only one payment gateway can be used at a time in your store.
- Verification includes phone numbers and addresses.
- Payouts will first go to Brikl’s account and then to your Stripe Express account.
Managing Payouts and Refunds
- You cannot transfer funds directly to personal accounts.
- Payouts are scheduled to your Stripe Express account on the 1st and 15th of each month. Payouts from your Stripe Express account to your bank account are scheduled daily.
- Refunds must be requested within 15 days of delivery for defective products. Typically, Brikl offers replacements rather than refunds.
Handling Returns and Issues
- For customer returns, contact Brikl.
- Do not not directly contact the fulfillment or decorator platforms.
- The returns process will soon be integrated into your dashboard for easier management.
Step 5: Set up shipping at an organizational level
Set the shipping fee you want to charge against the total purchase amount, taking note of the information below.
You can overwrite shipping rates for decorators, except for Printful (live rates), but keep in mind that you'll always be charged the default decorator shipping fee, regardless of whether you set the shipping fee for your customer higher or lower. Read more about that here.

Step 6: Build your Catalog (Account Owners & Non-Account Owners)
Now for the fun part! 🎉 Brikl lets you drag, drop, and build your catalog and embellish products with ease.
Step 7: Create a store
If you haven't already done so, you can create your store by going to Store in the sidebar > Add Store > then work your way through the store-building process. Choose your template and fill out your details. In the next step, you'll be able to assign your product catalogs to the store.
To ensure your banner displays well across devices and meets our platform requirements, please follow these guidelines:
Image requirements
File Format: Only JPEG, PNG, and GIF formats are allowed.
Dimensions: The recommended size is 1200 x 400 pixels to ensure optimal display on both desktop and mobile.
File Size: The maximum file size is 5MB. Larger files will not be accepted.
Image Quality
High Resolution: Use high-resolution images to prevent pixelation or blurriness.
Aspect Ratio: Maintain a 3:1 aspect ratio (width: height) to avoid distortion.
Content Restrictions
Avoid Offensive or Inappropriate Content: Images containing inappropriate, violent, or offensive content will be rejected.
Branding Compliance: Ensure any logos or branding align with our platform’s terms of service and do not infringe on third-party rights.
Step 8: Test Your Store
- Conduct test transactions to verify the checkout process.
- Adjust any settings or configurations as necessary.
- Announce your store launch through email, social media, and other marketing channels.
