Brikl BV and its U.S. subsidiary Brikl Inc. (“Brikl,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you use our websites, applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

Brikl BV, a company registered in Belgium, and its wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, Brikl Inc., together operate the Brikl Platform (collectively, “Brikl,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Brikl BV is the primary data controller or data processor for users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Brikl Inc. is the data controller or processor for users located in the United States and other regions.

This Privacy Policy applies to: Visitors to our websites, Users of our Software Platform, End-users of stores powered by Brikl (where we act as a data processor on behalf of our customers)

We collect and process the following types of personal data:

3.1           Information You Provide

(a)        Name, email address, phone number and company name;

(b)        Login credentials and account information;

(c)        Billing and payment details (processed securely by our payment partners);

(d)        Communications with us (support tickets, emails, chat messages);

(e)        Other information you choose to share (e.g., store settings, uploaded files, or customization data).

3.2           Information We Collect Automatically

When you use our Platform, we automatically collect:

(a)        Device and connection data (IP address, browser type, operating system);

(b)        Usage data (pages visited, time spent, clicks, referring URLs);

(c)        Log data, diagnostic data, and error reports;

(d)        Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 9).

3.3           Information From Third Parties

(a)        Service Providers / Subprocessors: trusted partners who help us host, process, or analyze data (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Stripe, Zoho);

(b)        Business Transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets;

(c)        Legal Requirements: when required by law, regulation, or court order;

(d)        With Your Consent: when you explicitly authorize us to share data with a third party.

When we transfer data from the EEA/UK to the U.S. or other regions, we use approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other lawful safeguards to protect your data.
