How Brikl calculates your payouts for on-demand products

Consider this easy example:
If you sell a polo shirt for $50 with a 50% margin, your cost of goods sold (COGS) would be $25. Adding shipping, the retail price would increase to $59.50. Brikl charges a 3.5% transaction fee on the retail price (excluding tax), which, in this case, would amount to $2.08.
Put simply, we’d collect $59.50 (plus sales tax) from the customer. After subtracting the COGS and the Brikl fee, your net profit for this transaction would be $22.90.
*Note: in case of the use of coupons, the payout will be adjusted accordingly to cover the cost of goods sold, and the Brikl fee will be calculated on the retail price, excl coupon.
How Brikl calculates your payout for your own products
Your payout, or the amount received by you, is calculated by subtracting the Brikl fee and the payment fee from the retail price.

How Stripe Express works in Brikl stores
To receive payments, you need to set up a Stripe Express account. Stripe Express allows you to easily receive payments directly into your linked bank account.
As the Merchant of Record, Brikl will handle the collection of funds from customer orders. Brikl deducts the cost of goods, shipping fees, and the 3.5% commission before paying out the remaining amount to your Stripe Express account. You’ll then have the flexibility to schedule payouts from Stripe Express into your bank account as you see fit.
Keep in mind that the funds will not be directly transferred to you until your Stripe Express account is fully set up. You can start accepting orders right away, but payouts will only occur once the account is linked.
