Feature
Let shoppers add their name, number, or custom text to any product — and see it rendered in real time before checkout. Distributors set up the personalization once. Shoppers fill in their details and get exactly what they ordered.

What makes it different
Consumer brands have offered “put your name on it” for years. None of that tooling was built for distributor programs running dozens of stores, hundreds of products, and thousands of shoppers in parallel. Brikl was.
Distributors run programs, not one-off orders. Every Brikl store supports unlimited products, unlimited shoppers, prefilled rosters, and decorator-ready production files — the workflow a 24-piece team order and a 2,400-piece corporate program both need.
No inventory, no minimums, no decoration done in advance. The personalization data flows from the shopper's keyboard straight into the decorator's production file — print-on-demand, embroidery-on-demand, sublimation-on-demand. One garment at a time, every garment unique.
Roster
Consumer tools personalize one item at a time. B2B programs need to personalize hundreds at once. Brikl's roster lets distributors paste names, numbers, and positions straight from a spreadsheet — one row per shopper, one column per layer. A 40-player team is loaded in seconds.
Personalization in Brikl has two parts: the distributor sets up the personalization in the dashboard, and the shopper fills in the details on the storefront.

Roster
The roster turns your personalization design into a bulk input. Each column maps to a layer in the design (name, number, position). Each row is one shopper — one player, one employee, one student. Paste the whole roster from Excel or Google Sheets in one go.

The roster auto-generates one column per text layer in your personalization design. Three layers (Name, Number, Position) → three columns. No manual setup.
Add a row for every player on the team or every employee in the program. The shopper picks their row from a dropdown on the storefront — no typing, no typos.
Copy a range from Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers and paste directly into the roster. Brikl maps the columns automatically. A 40-player team takes about 5 seconds.
How to find it
The roster button is hidden until your design accepts shopper input. Toggle “Allow shopper to input text” at the bottom of the personalization editor and the roster icon activates in the toolbar.
Once active, click the icon to open the roster panel and paste your data.

Layer tech
Most personalization tools force you into pre-made templates: “name here, number there, logo in the corner.” If a customer needs something the template doesn't have, you're back in spreadsheets. Brikl gives you a layered canvas — unlimited creative freedom, all driven by the same shopper-facing form.

In the dashboard
Stack text, logos, and curved type as independent layers. Each layer keeps its own font, color, position, and rotation — and any of them can be made shopper-editable.

On the storefront
The same layered composition renders on a 3D mockup of the actual product — no separate template, no re-rendering. What the distributor designs is what the shopper sees.
Each text, logo, shape, or color in a Brikl design is its own layer. Position, rotation, curve, font, and size are all independently controlled. Mix as many shopper-editable layers with fixed brand layers as the design needs.
The same canvas powers a one-line name tag and a five-layer multi-color jersey back. There's no template ceiling: if the decorator can produce it, the Brikl canvas can compose it.
Create text fields shoppers type into — names, initials, department names, custom messages. Set character limits, font, size, and color. The text renders on the product in real time.
Upload a spreadsheet with names, numbers, and custom fields for an entire team or organization. Shoppers select from a dropdown instead of typing — faster checkout, zero typos.
Place personalization across multiple decoration locations on the same product — name on the back, number on the front, logo on the left chest. Each location is independently configured.
Upload multiple logo options to the product. Shoppers choose which logo they want and where it goes. Supports multi-logo placement with drag-and-drop positioning in the dashboard.
Shoppers see their personalized product rendered on a 3D mockup before checkout. What they see is what they get — reducing returns and support requests.
Apply curved text, adjust rotation, change fonts and colors — all from the visual composition editor. The same formatting tools work for both fixed text and input fields.
Players select their name and number from a prefilled roster. The jersey, hoodie, or warm-up renders with their exact personalization before they add to cart. Coaches and parents see exactly what they're ordering.
Example setup: Name on back, number on front and back, team logo on left chest
Employees type their name or select their department. The polo, jacket, or tee shows the personalization applied to the company's chosen decoration locations. Every item ships individually — no sorting, no labeling.
Example setup: Employee name on right chest, company logo on left chest
Students and parents personalize school gear with names, graduation years, or activity groups. Prefilled fields keep it consistent — no misspelled school names or wrong mascot placements.
Example setup: Student name, graduation year, activity (Band, Soccer, Theater)
Each supporter personalizes their purchase with a name or message. Personalization increases perceived value and average order size — supporters are buying something uniquely theirs, not a generic fundraiser tee.
Example setup: Supporter name, custom message on sleeve
Open the composition editor, add text fields and logos, toggle which fields are shopper-editable, set character limits and formatting. Save.
For team or corporate orders, upload a spreadsheet with names, numbers, and any custom fields. These become dropdown selections on the storefront — no free-text typing needed.
The shopper types their name (or selects from a dropdown), enters their number, and sees the product update in real time. The Personalization Editor gives a full-screen preview across all decoration locations.
The personalization data is embedded in the order — name, number, position, font, color. It routes to the fulfillment partner with the production file ready to print. No re-keying, no interpretation errors.
Personalization isn't limited to DTG. Shoppers can personalize products decorated with most of Brikl's 12+ supported methods — the storefront shows available decoration options and lets the shopper select their preferred method before personalizing.
Before shoppers can personalize, you define where decorations go. The Design Tool lets you place logos, set text zones, and configure embroidery profiles.
